I started this blog as a sort of creative online journal and a way to share my recipes, projects and ideas with my friends and family around the world! My name is Maria, and I am originally from Prague, Czech Republic, where I grew up and lived until I moved to London, England, to study Art History. After graduating from college, I married my high school sweetheart and we lived in New Jersey for a couple of years, and then moved to Maryland in the summer of 2012. I love interior design and decorating, cooking, baking, art and art history, drawing, painting, sewing, crafting, shopping, and traveling and seeing new places!
