*Makes 8 Servings*
YOU WILL NEED:
2 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups fat free milk
1 pint (16 oz) strawberries, sliced
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Preheat your oven to 375 deg F and grease your baking dish.2. Next, in a little bowl, whisk together milk, egg and vanilla, pour into the oat mixture, and stir until all ingredients are combined. Slice your strawberries, and use half of them to cover the bottom of the baking dish evenly.
3. Pour the oatmeal mixture into the baking dish over the strawberries, then decorate the top with the remaining half of the strawberries and bake for 20 minutes, or until the center no longer jiggles.
